My husband and I are relatively new to the state of Washington. We, along with our three cats, moved from the great state of Ohio to the majestic state of Washington to quench our need for adventure! We live in the small town of Sultan and love our new community. During our free time, we love to explore Seattle, play music, go on hikes, Skype with our friends and family back home, try out new restaurants, and take bike rides. As time progresses, Washington feels more and more like home.
In addition to being licensed in Washington, I hold a Professional Clinical Counselor License from the state of Ohio, which is where I was born and raised. I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling at Cincinnati Christian University. Go Reds! I spent the years during and after graduate school, working as a Therapist at a Community Mental Health Agency in Middletown, Ohio. While there, I provided counseling services to many different types of folks of all ages, with long-term mental health problems. My time at the agency allowed for a wide range of counseling experiences, working with children, teens, and adults, in an agency and school setting. I have gained significant experience in working with depression, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and victims of abuse. My relationships with my clients brought me great joy and I was sad to say goodbye to them.
